News From Lightforce The new range of LightForce driving lights come with a
new breather system that makes these lights ready for the most extreme driving
conditions imaginable! It is a fact that most driving lights are not waterproof.
It is generally impossible to seal a halogen light due to the large amount of
heat generated which then has to 'breathe' to equalise the pressure. It is via
this process that moisture or other contaminants can enter the light.
LightForce have designed this breather kit to address this issue. Many 4WDers are familiar with the breather tubes that are fitted to the differentials and gearboxes in 4WDs. These are fitted to the mechanicals to equalise pressures and dissipate heat and vapour without allowing the entry of water. Best of All, new light for the same price!!

1. LIGHTWEIGHT CORROSION
AND IMPACT RESISTANT
The latest engineering plastics are injection moulded to produce a superior
product. These space age plastics are extremely strong, durable, able to withstand
high temperatures and Ultra Violet (UV) light resistant.
2. INJECTION MOULDED
REFLECTOR
Lightforce have produced a computer designed reflector which, when coupled with
a high quality vacuum metallised finish sets the standard for optimum beam performance.
3. POLYCARBONATE (LEXAN)
LENS
Virtually indestructible lens which can withstand violent impact and extreme
thermal shock.
4. INTERCHANGEABLE BASE/REFLECTOR
HOUSING OPTIONS
Any one handle will accept the full range of reflector housings. The perfect
system can be selected for each individual application. SL/ML/RM/RMDL models
are available in 140, 170 & 240mm reflector diameters, while the RMSM/RMSG &
CORDLESS lights are available in the 140 & 170mm option.
5. VARIOUS BULB OPTIONS
The Quartz Xenon Bulbs used in all Lightforce lights produce 20% more light
than standard halogen bulbs resulting in a brilliant white light. Bulbs are
available in different voltages and wattages.
6. FOCUSABLE BEAM (except predator & bicycle light):
By simple rotation of the front housing, the light can be focused to obtain
a pencil beam or progressively rotated to flood broad areas with brilliant light.
7. EASE OF BULB REPLACEMENT
No tools are required when changing the bulb in a Lightforce light, simply disengage
the reflector housing from the base and exchange the bulb. (see bulbs for more
information)
